Cubs get new outfielder!!

The Cubs got Detroit Tigers outfielder Craig Monroe today for a pick to be named later. Monroe was designated for assignment last week, he was batting .222. Monroe batted .255 with 28 homers and 92 RBIs last year and then tied a franchise record by hitting five home runs in the postseason. He also tied for second among AL outfielders with 12 assists.

Miller Time Returns??

Reggie Miller is contemplating a return to the NBA, too play for the Boston Celtics. He was approached by Celtics coach Doc Rivers and Celtics general manager Danny Ainge. Miller is 42, he played his entire 18 year career with the pacers. He hasn't played since 2005, he is a analyst for TNT currently.

Quinn Ends Holdout!

Former Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn signed with the Cleveland Browns today ending his holdout. The deal is worth $20.2 million, with $7.75 million guaranteed. The deal could eventually grow to be worth 30 million over 5 years.
